A few days ago, OnePlus Weibo page announced that some models of Oppo and OnePlus will be upgraded to the ColorOS 12 operating system. This new ColorOS is on top of the latest Android 12 operating system. According to the report, ColorOS 12 is also the first batch of operating systems compatible with Android 12 in China. The first batch of early adopters includes the Oppo Find X3 Pro series and the OnePlus 9 series. The limited recruitment of ColorOS 12 based on the official version of Android 12 is now open. The compatible models include five smartphones. Out of this number, three are Oppo devices while two are OnePlus’s smartphones. The smartphones include

These are the smartphones that can currently apply for this update. If a user’s application gets approval, the device will receive the update within three days.
Regarding the test qualification of ColorOS 12, the official said that users who have participated in the internal test before do not need to apply for the public test. ColorOS will continue to push the new version of ColorOS 12 for users afterward. Subsequently, it will also push the official version in the later stage of the test.
Users who want to sign up can go through “Settings > Software Update > Settings Icon in the upper right corner > Click Upgrade Early adopters > Upgrade Open Beta”, then click “Book Now”, fill in the relevant information, complete the answers and submit it.
