TicWatch Pro X launched in China

Mobvoi’s latest smartwatch, TicWatch Pro X has gone official in China as part of the company’s attempt to expand its brand in more regions. The recently unveiled smartwatch packs a powerful chipset under the hood and offers sufficiently good performance. It is worth mentioning here that the newly launched smartwatch retains most of the features of its predecessor, the TicWatch Pro 3 series.

TicWatch Pro X Calling

In fact, a report from 9To5Google claims that the TicWatch Pro X is nearly 99 percent similar to the TicWatch Pro 3. However, Mobvoi has introduced slight changes to the chassis in a bid to ensure it is different from the TicWatch Pro 3, which was launched last year. The newfangled wearable ships with 1GB of RAM and offers 8GB of onboard storage capacity.

TicWatch Pro X Price in China

The recently launched smartwatch carries a price tag of CNY 2,399 (about $372) in China. It will go on sale starting from October 11. Chinese consumers will be able to purchase the TicWatch Pro X for a lowered price of CNY 1,999 (about $310) when it goes up for pre-order. You will be able to purchase it via JD.com and the company’s official website. It comes in a sole color option and has black and brown straps.

The TicWatch Pro X runs Google’s latest Wear OS. It adopts an eye-catching dual-display design that comprises a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixels resolution. The screen offers a pixel density of 326 PPI. Aside from that, it sports an FSTN LCD display with 18 color options that boost battery life. The 595mAh battery lasts up to 45 days on a single charge with the FSTN LCD color display. This is a significant improvement. With the AMOLED display, the battery lasts for up to 4 days.

TicWatch Pro X Display

The wearable packs a Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and ships with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. Moreover, it offers multiple sports modes such as swimming, skating, basketball, yoga, football, running, walking, and more. On top of that, the smartwatch houses health monitoring sensors including SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) monitoring, heart rate monitoring, sedentary reminders, and more.

The smartwatch is capable of detecting the wearer’s physical activities and automatically activate the workout mode. Furthermore, the TicWatch Pro X comes with eSIM support for 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. Aside from that, it offers QZSS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass, GPS, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n for connectivity. As if that weren’t enough, this IP68 rated smartwatch supports NFC so that you can use it for payments, access cards, or transport cards.
