Moto E40 pricing details and a slew of other vital information have surfaced online ahead of the smartphone’s official unveiling. Last month, the rumor mill began churning out speculations surrounding an affordable Motorola smartphone dubbed, the Moto E40. Earlier this week, noted tipster Evan Blass shared some official-looking renders of the aforesaid smartphone.

The upcoming Moto E-series has been subject to several leaks lately, with multiple reports divulging its key specifications. Likewise, some reports have already given us a glimpse of the phone’s awe-inspiring design. The recently surfaced pictures of the handset show a tiny hole in the upper region of the display. This cut-out will be housing the phone’s front shooter.

Moto E40 Surfaces Pricing & Other Details

Now, the Moto E40 has made its appearance on the Romanian retailer site, eMag. The listing was originally discovered by noted tipster Roland Quandt. This listing includes all the key specifications, as well as the pricing of the smartphone. The retailer website has listed the Moto E40 with a price tag of 779 Lei, which converts roughly to about $183. Furthermore, you can choose between two color options including Gray and Gold.

The Moto E40 sports a 6.5-inch IPS display with an HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, the phone’s dimensions are 168.08 x 75.64 x 9.14mm and it weighs 198 grams. The screen features a punch-hole to accommodate a front-mounted 8MP selfie camera. The rear panel houses a 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth assist lens. Aside from that, the rear camera module houses an LED flash. Regrettably, the phone’s listing does not shed light on the chipset that will be powering up the E40.

However, if previous reports are anything to go by, the smartphone could pack an Unisoc T700 chipset under the hood. Aside from that, the phone ships with 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of onboard storage capacity. The phone runs the Android 11 Go Edition operating system and is backed by a robust 4,000mAh battery. Furthermore, it offers dual-SIM support. For connectivity, the E40 has a fingerprint scanner at the back, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Previously surfaced reports suggest that the phone will come with an Unisoc Tiger T700 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. The device is tipped to offer 64GB of built-in storage. Aside from that, the phone could feature a dedicated hardware button to summon the Google Assistant.
