In September, Samsung released the first beta of One UI 4.0 for its Galaxy S21 flagship series. The fourth iteration of the proprietary shell introduced a number of innovations and changes, but at the same time, it did not offer one of the features – the Material You design, which became a hallmark of Android 12. A little time passed and this shortcoming was fixed.
The company rolled out the second beta version of One UI 4.0, which is just endowed with such a feature as the adaptive color design of the shell with the wallpaper selected by the user. Among the innovations, it is also worth noting the function of RAM Plus, which has already received the Galaxy A52 / A52s and Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The updated animation of One UI 4.0 was also in the center of attention of the famous network insider Ice Universe, who posted a video on his Twitter page that demonstrates the smooth operation of animation when opening applications. The background also received a blurry and three-dimensional effect.
At this stage, the company continues to test the shell and how soon it will be ready to roll out its stable assembly, there is no reliable information. One can only speculate that the final One UI 4.0 update will appear in the Galaxy S22 family smartphones out of the box.
