Apple Watch Series 7 pre-order delivery dates have been pushed back to December, much to the chagrin of those who pre-ordered the smartwatch. Apple unveiled its latest wearable devices earlier this month. The Cupertino-based tech giant had even started accepting pre-orders for its Apple Watch Series 7. Regrettably, the company has to postpone the launch citing some unavoidable circumstances. Apple’s latest Watch went up for pre-order on October 8, at 5:30 PM IST in India.
The shipping times dated for the flagship wearable were November 2021 at the time of launch. According to a report from NotebookCheck, some options are currently unavailable for delivery. Apple Watch didn’t usually undergo a radical overhaul, sporting the same design year to year. However, the new Apple Watch came with a bigger display and slimmer bezels. So, a considerable number of Apple Watch fans have restlessly been waiting to pre-order the new smartwatch. Now, a new report from Bloomberg suggests that they are in a big disappointment.

The company has pushed back the Watch Series 7 launch to December. Moreover, some steeply-priced models have been listed as “currently unavailable.” This includes two $899 models, one that comes with a silver titanium frame and a leather band. The other black titanium unit features a silicone band. The other expensive models that are in collaboration with Hermes, are set to be delivered in November and December.

The tech behemoth ran into shipments issues even with the recently unveiled iPhone 13 series smartphones. As a result, the shipments dates for some units had to be postponed to November. Apple would leave no stone unturned in a bid to resolve the production issues before the holiday season begins. According to analysts, Apple will be generating revenue of about $120 billion between October to December 2021. If that comes to fruition, Apple would have a 7 percent year-over-year gain.
Features & Specifications
The newly launched Apple Watch Series 7 comes with the same sensors and processors that were available in the previous generation. However, it runs the latest watchOS 8 UI (user interface) with enhanced algorithms and a host of new features. Furthermore, you can choose between five color options. This includes Dark Grey, Red, Gold, Blue, and Black. Aside from that, the Apple Watch Series 7 boasts an impressive array of watch faces.
The watch has an IP6X rating for water and dust resistance. The wearable draws its juices from a robust battery, which Apple claims can last up to 18 hours of normal usage when fully charged. It uses the USB-C port for charging. Moreover, Apple suggests that the wearable will offer 8 hours of battery life even with just 8 minutes of charging.
