The phone’s Geekbench listing suggests that iQOO will pack the Z5x with a MediaTek MT6877V/ZA chip. This alludes to the Dimensity 900 5G SoC. This piece of information corroborates earlier speculations fueled by a Google Play Console listing. The processor will be coupled with 6GB of RAM, according to the Geekbench listing. Furthermore, the TENAA certification listing hints at an 8GB RAM option. Aside from that, the phone is likely to run Android 11 out of the box.
If the TENAA listing is anything to go by, the phone’s dimensions are 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm and it will weigh 169 grams. Moreover, the phone is tipped to sport a 6.58-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. In the optics department, the phone houses a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP lens. Upfront, there’s an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
As far as pricing is concerned, the iQOO Z5x will be relatively cheaper than the iQOO Z5, considering its hardware configuration. The iQOO Z5 is currently available in India for a starting price of INR 23,990. The company will be announcing the iQOO Z5x in China soon. There is a possibility that it will not go official in India though.
