OnePlus 9RT Hacker Black edition has surfaced online, while shreds of details about the phone’s virtual RAM have been confirmed. OnePlus will finally take the wraps off its much-awaited OnePlus 9RT smartphone on October 13 in its home country of China. Moreover, the company hasn’t refrained from divulging key specifications and features of the upcoming smartphone.
For instance, OnePlus has confirmed that the 9RT will pack a Snapdragon 888 processor under the hood. Aside from that, it has been confirmed that the device will sport a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display. As if that weren’t enough, a recently spotted teaser seems to shed light on the phone’s color variants and its virtual RAM. The OnePlus 9RT is currently up for pre-order via JD.com and the company’s official online store.
7GB of Virtual RAM Confirmed
Several smartphone manufacturers are jumping in on the Virtual RAM bandwagon. As a result, a myriad of mid-range, budget, and flagship phones now come with the Virtual RAM feature. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 series, the OnePlus 9RT will ship with up to 7GB of Virtual RAM. The aforesaid feature enables the device to convert the handset’s internal storage into RAM. This increases the phone’s RAM.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 9RT will offer LPDDR5 RAM, along with UFS 3.1 storage. Aside from that, the 9RT will come with an improved cooling system as compared to the OnePlus 9 series. The impending smartphone will adopt an efficient five-dimensional heat dissipation design. It will be capable of delivering 20 percent better cooling efficiency, due to the 59 percent improved VC cooling chamber. Moreover, the phone will offer a touch response rate of 600Hz.

It seems that OnePlus is on the verge of unveiling the OnePlus 9RT Hacker Black Edition. The variant sports a black color paint job on the rear panel. Aside from that, the model appears to bear striking resemblance to the previously teased silver variant. The word on the street is that the OnePlus 9RT will be available in three color options including Blue, Silver, and Black. Furthermore, the Hacker Black Edition appears to have a matte finished rear panel, which houses three cameras. The rear-mounted camera setup features a 50MP main camera.
The OnePlus 9RT is likely to sport a 6.55-inch E4 AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it is likely to pack a Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone will probably draw its juices from a 4,500mAh battery that comes with Warp Charge 65T fast charging support.
