Vivo S10e emerges in live video with 64MP camera

Vivo S10e

A few weeks ago a smartphone dubbed Vivo V2130A has been revealed by the Chinese TENAA certification. The certification lacks info that could point us to the identity of that device, but today everything is cleared. A new live video has emerged and reveals the smartphone’s moniker as Vivo S10e. The device will come with a triple-camera setup and three distinct colorways.

This camera setup seems to be quite simple as there isn’t a periscope module. However, the video already serves to confirm that this device will have a primary 64 MP camera. We can expect the other modules to be ultrawide and a depth-sensing module. In the worst of cases, it will be a macro and a depth module. The video also confirms a regular power key. Therefore, we can expect the device to have an OLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner. According to the leakster, the panel will come from Samsung and will offer a 90 Hz refresh rate. We expect it to have a Full HD+ resolution.

Vivo S10e alleged specifications

Previously, TENAA has confirmed the device with a 6.44-inch diagonal and the Full HD+ resolution we’ve stated above. Under the hood, the handset will run with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. This powerful chipset uses the 6 nm TSMC process and brings some of the features to seem on the more powerful Dimensity 1100 and 1200. This chip is yet to become popular like its 2021 siblings but is present on premium devices like the Oppo Reno6.

The device will be another of Vivo’s sleek smartphones with just 7.59 mm thickness and a 175 grams weight.  For now, there isn’t much information about the device when it comes to availability. We may see it going official in China, but other international markets aren’t discarded. According to the rumors, the device will cost CNY 2,499($385/€335) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage.

We can expect the smartphone to come with OriginOS 1.0 in China and Android 11. If it ever comes to the international market, then it should have FuntouchOS 12 on top of the same Android 11 OS. The battery should be bigger than 4,000 mAh and we can expect at least 33W of fast charging.

Vivo is yet to provide official information about this device, but with so many details leaking, we expect an official announcement to come soon.
