A few hours ago, Google officially unveiled its latest flagship series, Google Pixel 6 series. This series has two models, Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. These smartphones comes with the stable version of the Android 12 operating system. These are the first smartphones to come with the Android 12 system. In terms of price, the Google Pixel 6 series starts at $599 which makes it very popular. After the release of the Google Pixel 6 series, the Google Store began accepting pre-orders. These smartphones are more popular than Google’s anticipation. These models are attracting a large number of consumers who are placing place orders. This huge traffic is causing downtime in the Google Store.
Google stores in the United States and the United Kingdom are experiencing downtime. The websites are showing page errors and consumers unable to complete the payment process. According to Google, a team of engineers is actively working on it.
Google claims that the Pixel 6 series will be the fastest Pixel smartphone ever. Also, if the new Tensor chip performs well, this could be a game changer for Google. However, it appears that Google is quite confident on the Pixel 6 series. According to Nikkei News, Google plans to double its smartphone shipments for the first time. Google has asked suppliers to produce more than 7 million Pixel 6 series smartphones. This number is about twice its smartphone shipments last year. For the Google Pixel 5a smartphones, Google produced five million units.
