Vivo Watch 2 key features have surfaced online even before the much-awaited Vivo Watch successor goes official. Vivo could be gearing up to launch a new wearable that will succeed its well-received Vivo Watch smartwatch. The new smartwatch is likely to come with the Vivo Watch 2 moniker. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, the rumor mill has been churning out several speculations surrounding the purported new smartwatch from Vivo.

Earlier this year, a report indicated that the Vivo Watch 2 will come with eSIM support. It is worth mentioning here that the original Vivo Watch did not support eSIM. Now, the new smartwatch seems to have passed through the TENAA certification website. As expected, the TENAA listing has divulged some key details and a photo of the Vivo Watch 2. Moreover, the photo gives us a glimpse of the upcoming smartwatch’s design and its strap.

Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to his Twitter account on October 19 to share the key features of the Vivo Watch 2. Sharma also suggested that the new smartwatch from Vivo has visited TENAA. Furthermore, the leaker claims that the Vivo Watch 2 will sport an OLED display. Aside from that, he suggests that the new wearable will pack a 510mAh battery. Also, Sharma’s tweet corroborated earlier speculation that the Vivo Watch 2 will support eSIM functionality.

Another renowned leaker Digital Chat Station confirmed the Vivo Watch 2 moniker. The tipster also indicated that the wearable will adopt a triple-network eSIM technology with an independent eUICC chip. The eSIM functionality will considerably improve the Vivo Watch 2 features. For instance, you will be able to make and receive calls, and browse the internet without requiring a backup mode of connection. On top of that, the new smartwatch could offer a full smartphone-free experience, according to a report from 91mobiles.

Other Key Details

If speculations making the rounds online are anything to go by, the new Vivo Watch will support apps, just like the Xiaomi Watch Color 2. The original Vivo Watch is available in a 42mm and a 46mm size option. The sizes offer a 1.19-inch and a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen, respectively. Furthermore, the Vivo Watch has 11 sports modes, and it even monitors heart rate and blood oxygen levels. Aside from that, the Vivo Watch carries a waterproof rating and offers built-in storage.

The Vivo Watch 42mm model lasts for 9 days, while the larger 46mm Vivo Watch variant delivers an impressive 18 days of battery life on a single charge. Details about the battery capacity are still scarce, but some sources suggest that it will have a 501mAh battery, while other hints at a 515mAh battery.
