Galaxy Z Flip3 latest update also improves the device’s performance

Galaxy Z Flip3 foldable android smartphones

Back in August this year, Samsung unveiled its new foldable smartphone contenders in the form of Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. The duo of foldable smartphones is selling very well since then. Apparently, Samsung mastered the foldable race and is already making its devices a “mainstream product” rather than just something for a particular niche of enthusiasts. These devices are much more expensive than common smartphones, but not as expensive as they have used to be. The Galaxy Z Flip3 is the best-selling model due to its cheaper price and more “smartphone-like” design. Samsung wants to offer decent software support for its device and is rolling out a new update today.

The Galaxy Z Flip3 got a new update patch in South Korea last month with the October 2021 security patch for Android. A few weeks later, the update reached the unlocked units of the Z Flip3 in the United States. Now, the update is rolling out for the Galaxy Z Flip3 globally. This week, the company expanded the update to more markets across the globe.

Interestingly, the new update for the international variants of the Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with firmware version F711BXXU2AUJ7. The patch fixes more than 60 security and privacy-related issues. The changelog also talks about the improved stability of the smartphone. In addition to the performance and stability enhancements, the update also brings new Camera features. For instance, there is a new Portrait mode that supports pets. That means that you`ll be able to capture portrait photos of cats and dogs with your foldable’s front and rear cameras.
