Xiaomi Mi Smart Camera 2 PTZ with an impressive array of features and carrying a reasonable price tag was launched in China on October 20. This is the latest smart home product from the Chinese tech giant. It houses a 4MP camera that delivers 2,560×1,440 pixels resolution. Aside from that, the sensor offers an f/1.4 aperture lens, along with a focal length of 3.6mm.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Camera 2 PTZ succeeds the Mi Smart Camera SE PTZ, which was launched back in May 2020. The feature-laden Xiaomi Mi Smart Camera 2 PTZ supports dual-band Wi-Fi for 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz bands. Aside from that, the smart camera offers a panoramic view of 360-degrees. It can be remotely accessed using your smartphone. As if that weren’t enough, it comes with two-way real-time voice call support with up to 5 meters of pick-up distance.

The original Mi Smart Camera SE PTZ made its debut in China, carrying a 149 yuan (about $21) price tag. The recently unveiled Mi Smart Camera 2 PTZ version carries an affordable price tag of 249 yuan, which converts roughly to about $39.
Those who aren’t willing to shell out that kind of money on a smart camera can head straight to JD.com and pre-order the Mi Smart Camera 2 PTZ for a lowered price of 229 yuan (about $36). The smart camera comes in a white color option. The deliveries are likely to begin from November 3.
