Realme 9 Pro Plus smartphone has been spotted on the IMEI database, hinting at the smartphone’s imminent launch. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to unveil its much-awaited Realme 9 series smartphones in 2022. Now, these impending smartphones have started making appearances on data certification websites. During the recently concluded Realme 8s and 8i launch event, Realme announced that the upcoming mid-ranger will go official next year.
Moreover, the company said the Realme 9 series smartphones will pack a “fantastic mainstream processor” under the hood. Regrettably, Realme did not divulge details about the processor. The word on the street is that Realme pushed the launch date of the Realme 9 series citing the current chip and global semi-conductor shortage. A myriad of other handset makers has been affected by the shortage. As a result, Realme ended up launching some products with the same chipset.
Realme 9 Pro Plus Appears On IMEI Database
On October 23, renowned leaker Mukul Sharma tweeted a screenshot of what he claims is the Realme 9 Pro Plus smartphone’s IMEI database listing. The upcoming handset carries model number RMX3393. According to a report from 91mobiles, the aforesaid device could boast higher-end specifications than the other Realme 9 series smartphones. In other words, it will be offering better specifications compared to the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 9 smartphones.
