Honor has started the week with the Honor Play5 Youth released and the remaining days will be quite busy for enthusiasts of the newly-revived Honor brand. Besides the new Youth smartphone, the company is also bringing new contenders for its Honor X30 series in the form of the Honor X30i and Honor X30 Max. As usual, the company is building the hype with some teaser images. Today’s teasers come around the Honor X30i, its rear design, and sleek form factor. The new device will hit the market alongside its Behemoth-brother, Honor X30 Max, on Thursday, October 28.
Today, Honor posted more photos of the Honor X30i on its Weibo page. The Honor X30 Max is coming to succeed the Honor X10 Max as one of the biggest smartphones in the market. The X30i, on the other hand, will be quite the opposite. The device comes to be a lightweight and thin smartphone for those who don’t want a smartphone that can be bulky sometimes.
According to the company, the Honor X30i will be “light as the wind, floating in the skies”. It’s the marketing language for the handset to describe its thin and light body.

The Honor X30 Max will have a USB Type C port on the bottom right next to the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the speaker grille. We can see the volume rocker clearly on the right side. It is accompanied by a power key that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. This basically confirms an LCD display at the front. This display will have a Notch design for the selfie camera.
Hopefully, despite being an LCD it will also pack a high refresh rate of 120 Hz at least. The Honor X30 Max will come with a huge 5,000 mAh battery. The display will have a massive 7.09-inch diagonal. The device will have 22.5W charging and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The X30 Max will carry the Dimensity 900 SoC processor. The device will have stereo speakers. In the back, there are 64 MP + 2 MP cameras. Completing performance, we have 8 GB of RAM with up to 256 GB of storage.
In terms of specs, the Honor X30i will offer a 6.7-inch LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate of 2,388 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the device has a Dimensity 810 processor, a 48 MP main camera, and two 2 MP snappers. The devices will hit the Chinese market on October 28. Considering that the Honor 50 and 50 Lite were unveiled in Europe earlier today, we can expect these devices to eventually hit global markets.
