Samsung has updated the Galaxy Book family of branded laptops with three new computers – Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey and Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G. All three devices received the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors.
Samsung updates its Galaxy Book laptops with Intel Tiger Lake processors
The slim and lightweight Galaxy Book is housed in an all-metal body. It boasts a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen. The laptop is available with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 chips. The Core i5 version comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid state storage. For the variant with the Core i7, the same characteristics are 16 and 512 GB, respectively. The Galaxy Book boasts Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics and Dolby Atmos support. The cost of new items starts at $ 749.99. The device will go on sale from November 15th.
Galaxy Book Odyssey targets more demanding users. In addition to the Core i7-11600H processor, the device is equipped with a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q. The computer boasts a 15.6-inch display with viewing angles up to 170 degrees and anti-reflective coating. Versions with 8, 16 and 32 GB of RAM are available. The capacity of the solid state drive can be 512GB or 1TB. Sales of new items will start on November 11 at a price of $ 1399.99.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G, as its name implies, features a 360-degree top flap and is capable of operating on 5th generation cellular networks. The computer boasts a high-end 13.3-inch AMOLED matrix with Full HD resolution and support for touch input. The device is available with Core i5-1130G7 and Core i7-1160G7 processors. It can be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory or 16 GB of RAM paired with 512 GB of storage. The computer supports the S-Pen active stylus. Sales of new items will start on November 11 at a price of $ 1399.99.
