Apple recently unveiled new colors for its HomePod mini, during the Unleashed Event which also saw the Cupertino giant announce the AirPods 3 and the new MacBook Pros, running the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

At the time of launch, the HomePod mini was available in Space Gray and White, but with this new announcement, the speaker is now available in Orange, Blue and Yellow. The speaker will retail for $99.

Now, according to AppleTrack, it seems that these new HomePod mini colors will be available starting next week, with the publication stating that Apple will start taking orders for the same on Monday.

This comes after Apple mentioned that the new HomePod minis would be available starting November, with Monday being November 1, so it seems that this is a likely availability date.

The European site of Apple mentions that the new HomePod mini will not be available until late November, but that is not a sign of non-availability in all markets. Users might be able to place orders starting November 1, but we will have to wait and see.

In other news, alongside the HomePod mini, Apple announced the third generation AirPods. The AirPods 3rd generation receive multiple improvements, from design to chipset to battery life, all of which are key to the listening and ease of use when it comes to earbuds and headphones.

When it comes to pricing, the AirPods 3 will retail for $179, with the earbuds retailing for Rs 18,500 in India. The earbuds will be available starting today in India via Appleā€™sĀ site, with stores receiving the same starting October 26.

Starting with the design, the AirPods third generation feature a design similar to the Apple AirPods Pro, but the smartphone giant seems to think that this is a new design, we will let them have this one, so yes, the AirPods 3rd generation feature a ā€œnew designā€.

The major difference to the AirPods Pro is the eartip, since the AirPods 3rd gen miss out on the eartips that ship with the Pro version of the AirPods.

Coming back to the audio side of things, the AirPods 3rd generation feature support for Dolby Atmos (for Apple Music) and have Spatial Audio, which according to Apple now has dynamic head tracking on the AirPods.

There is a new custom driver for the AirPods 3rd gen, which offers better sound. Apple also mentions that the earbuds will feature Adaptive EQ, which will make listening to music a true joy.
