Lava has accidentally leaked details of its first 5G-enabled handset dubbed the Lava AGNI 5G before it launches in India next month. The Noida-based smartphone manufacturer hasn’t been making headlines lately. However, the company has revealed that it is working on a 5G-ready handset, much to the delight of Lava fans. The aforesaid smartphone is likely to hit the store shelves in India before Diwali. Some sources have just confirmed that the Lava AGNI 5G smartphone will launch on November 9. The company’s official YouTube channel accidentally revealed the November 9 launch date in a now-deleted video.
Diwali will be celebrated in India on November 4. In other words, Lava will be unveiling its new 5G smartphone after the five-day festival comes to an end. The hype surrounding the upcoming Lava smartphone skyrocketed when the Lava AGNI 5 product page accidentally surfaced online. It was leaked by the company itself. As expected, the leaked product page divulges some important information about the upcoming smartphone. For instance, it confirms that the phone will launch with the Lava AGNI 5G moniker.
Lava AGNI 5G Specifications
Noted leaker Abhishek Yadav took to his Twitter account on October 27 to share the pricing details about the upcoming smartphone. Aside from that, he divulged some key specifications of the handset. The Lava Agni 5G seems to sport a modern outward appearance. The phone’s design does not align with the company’s earlier dull-looking handsets. Moreover, the smartphone will sport a display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. This display will be surrounded by thin bezels. It will also have a punch-hole cutout at the top to accommodate the front shooter.
