Redmi Note series global sales exceed 240 million units


Redmi officially released the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro+, and Redmi Watch 2 earlier today. At the launch event, Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing, revealed that the global sales of the Redmi Note series have exceeded 240 million units. In May of this year, Xiaomi announced that the global sales of the Redmi Note series exceeded 200 million. This means that the series sold another 40 million units in five months, an average of 8 million units per month.

Lu Weibing said that starting from this year, the Note series has started an iterative strategy of two generations a year. One generation focuses on performance and the other focuses on balance in all aspects. The company is adopting this release pattern mainly to meet the needs of multiple users. This series will adhere to the price-performance ratio and will remain within the 2000 yuan ($313) price range.

According to Lu Weibing, the Redmi Note 11 Pro series with the Dimensity 920 balances performance and power consumption. This series also comes with trendy and flagship features such as AMOLED display, high screen refresh rate, 120W fast charging, 108MP camera,  symmetrical stereo, etc.
