The market of Android tablets is trending again as many companies are joining it and returning with competitive devices. Even Google is doing some efforts to make Android more relevant in large-sized and foldable displays with the release of Android 12L. The brands that always have been there are coming with new products to keep their market share safe. Lenovo, for example, a brand that always kept its division of tablets is preparing a new Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 tablet for a release in China, on November 2.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 had earlier been rumored to include a 120 Hz high refresh rate screen, the manufacture has now confirmed this fact. The device will come with a high refresh screen and will also boast Frame Sharing Ultra HD certification. Furthermore, the device will come with a high refresh rate streaming on the Youku video streaming platform.

Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6 specifications

Thanks to previous teasers and leaks, we already know what to expect. The tablet will boast a 12.6-inch E4 AMOLED screen with thinner bezels. The device has 2,560 x 1,600 pixels of resolution and whopping 600 nits of brightness. Moreover, the panel has 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and TUV Rheinland certification. On top of the 120 Hz refresh rate display, the tablet will also come with a 360 Hz touch sampling rate. This will ensure a smooth touch input response.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro comes as the company’s response to the premium Xiaomi Pad series. The device comes with a very large screen of 12.6 inches. It will come with a dual-camera setup at the back which is unusual for tablets. The main unit is a 13 MP camera and there is also a 5 MP secondary snapper. In the front, there is an 8 MP camera and a ToF sensor. Under the hood, the Xiaoxin comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 built-in storage. The device has a 10,200 mAh battery with 30W fast-charging technology support. We’re not sure about the software version, but given the recent release of Android 12, we expect it to still carry Android 11.

The tablet has highlighting features like Dolby Vision, DC dimming, JBL branded Dolby Atmos supported speakers, and multi-accessory support. The upcoming tablet will also include a stylus. Moreover, we expect support for a keyboard case. All these accessories may come alongside the tablet.
