Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro entered the global market in September. A little later, rumors appeared that at least the Xiaomi 11T will reach the Chinese market, but will change its name to Redmi K40S. True, a little later an alarm bell was sounded when one of the top managers of the company said that not everything was going smoothly with the launch of the new product and they were making great efforts to get it out.

The release of the flagship Redmi was canceled at the last moment

It seems that the company failed to cope with the difficulties. It had to surrender due to the lack of processors and abandon the release of Redmi K40S. The fact that this model is not worth waiting for was announced by the head of Redmi Liu Weibing. To fans, he stated that the company is preparing for the release of the Redmi K50 series.

Insiders continue to say that Xiaomi should soon introduce two more smartphones based on the Snapdragon 870, where one will be released under the Redmi brand and the other under the parent company’s brand. But what the new items can be called and in which markets they will be available is not reported.

As for the Redmi K50 series, it can have three models, where, in addition to the base one, they will offer Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro +. The top-end Snapdragon 898 chip will only go to the Pro +, while other new products should receive the Snapdragon 888. The company is also scheduled to launch the Xiaomi 12 in December, which should take the title of the world’s first with Snapdragon 898.
