BoAt Watch Zenit Featuring 1.3-inch Circular Display, SpO2 Monitoring to Launch in India Soon


Popular Indian brand BoAt, well known for its wearable and audio offerings, the latter of which is selling in great numbers is set to launch a new smartwatch in the region soon.

The watch, dubbed the BoAt Watch Zenit will bring it features like a circular display, theater mode, music control, built-in games as well as many other futures.

This comes after the launch of the BoAt Vertex, which is available for Rs 2,499. The product listing on Amazon reveals the details but fails to list the retail price of the new smartwatch.

The new BoAt Watch Zenit will feature a 1.3-inch IPS display with a circular dial. This will be a touch-enabled display with two crown buttons flanking the chassis for navigation purposes.

The Amazon listing of the smartwatch reveals that it will be available in three hues, Silver, Blue and Black. The watch comes with multiple sensors, key of which are the 24/7 heart-rate sensor, sleep tracker and the SpO2 monitor.

The BoAt Watch Zenit uses Bluetooth to connect to a smartphone, post which it can display push notifications and call alerts, with the option to mute or decline an incoming call. The companion app from the company packs in over 100 watch faces for the new smartwatch.

What Else Does the Watch Come With?

There are 7 different sports modes on offer, which are skipping, badminton, cycling, running, walking, football and basketball. There is also a built-in game in the smartwatch by the name of Young Bird, which is similar to flappy bird.

Theater mode on the smartwatch reduces the smartwatch’s brightness and mutes all notifications, which as the name suggests, will be quite useful when at the movies.

Battery life is pretty decent, with the smartwatch lasting up to 7 days on a single charge. There is also an IP67 certification against dust and water. The smartwatch is set to launch in India soon and will likely be available via Amazon.in.

In other BoAt news, its newfangled boAt Vertex smartwatch is more than just a ‘smart time machine.’ The company describes its new wearable as a “true fitness companion.”

Category Head, Smartwatches, Boat, Eshita Anil mentions that Boat wearables are garnering huge popularity among the company’s customer base. She noted that the company wants to create a health-centric ecosystem in India with the help of its new Crest app.
