Lenovo Yoga 16s and Yoga Pro 14s Carbon

The Lenovo Yoga 16s and Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon have hit the store shelves in China under Lenovo’s well-received Yoga series of laptops. Both laptops sport displays that offer a high refresh rate and run Windows 11 operating system. Furthermore, the recently unveiled laptops pack AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors, under the hood.

Aside from that, the company has launched the Yoga Pro 14c and the Yoga Pro 14s laptops. The Yoga Pro 14c has a 14-inch IPS display with 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolutions and it packs an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor. The Yoga Pro 14s sports a 16-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) resolution. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

The recently unveiled Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon 2022 model features a 14-inch 2.8K ((2,880 x 1,800 pixels) OLED display that delivers a color depth of 10-bit and 90Hz screen refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen supports HDR, as well as Dolby Vision content. The laptop uses an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor to draw its power, according to a report from Gadgets360.

Moreover, the laptop draws its juices from a 61Whr battery unit that supports 65W fast charging and can last up to 8 hours. Aside from that, the device weighs only 1.08 Kgs, making it easier to carry on the go. The Yoga Pro 14s Carbon ships with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to a hefty 1TB storage. For connectivity, it has two USB Type-C ports, and Wi-Fi 6.

The Lenovo Yoga 16s sports a slightly larger 16-inch OLED display that delivers 2.5K resolution, and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Aside from that, the laptop offers 500 nits peak brightness and 10-bit color depth for a superior viewing experience. Furthermore, this touch screen display comes with HDR and Dolby Vision playback support. Under the hood, it packs an AMD Ryzen 5800H processor, along with a highly competent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 discrete GPU.

Moreover, the Yoga 16s comes with 16GB of RAM and offers an ample 512GB SSD storage. A 75Whr battery will be powering up the laptop for 7 hours. Lenovo has used CNC refined metal to build the 17.4mm thin laptop. As far as ports are concerned, the laptop comes with an SD card reader, a headphone jack, HDMI, USB Type-C, and a USB-A Gen 1.

Price & Availability

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 14s Carbon will set you back CNY 7,299 (about INR 85,000). Alternatively, you can go for the Yoga 16s laptop if you are willing to shell out CNY 7,499, which roughly converts to about INR 87,400.
