Realme has recently unveiled the Realme GT Neo2 as the latest member of the flagship killer series of smartphones. The GT Neo2 comes as a nice upgrade over its predecessor. The handset brings a new chipset – Snapdragon 870 – that has some advantages over MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 SoC. Moreover, it bigs a massive battery which figures as the biggest capacity in the entire GT lineup. The smartphone was released in China in September and reached India last month. Now, it is making its big entrance in two more countries – Thailand and Malaysia.
In Thailand, there variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB if Available. It costs THB 13,990 which is $16 while those in Malaysia can only pice the 12 GB of RAM and has 256 GB internal storage. The handset costs MYR 2,099 (~$505) which is not bad when you take the entire specifications package into consideration.

REALME GT NEO2 SPECIFICATIONS
To recall, the Realme GT Neo boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and has up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. Furthermore, it comes with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
In terms of optics, the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 64 MP snapper, and there is also an 8 MP ultrawide module for “groupies”. Finally, we have a 2 MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the device packs a 16 MP camera setup. You’ll notice some similarities with other Realme smartphones as this has been pretty much the standard triple camera combo in the GT series.
The Realme GT Neo2 is the GT-series smartphone with the largest battery. The device has a 5,000 mAh battery that charges with the fast 65W charging. The device runs Android 11 straight out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
According to fresh reports, Realme will not close the year without revealing a new smartphone. New rumors suggest that the Realme GT 2 Pro might be revealed soon by the company. And, if there is a Pro we can also expect a vanilla version to arrive as well.
