The Xiaomi Laser Cinema 2 adopts a 0.23:1 large depth of field and ultra-short focal lens design. You can place it 20cm far from the wall and this will be sufficient to project a 100-inch large screen.

Also, the Xiaomi Laser Cinema 2 upgrades a new integrated design optical machine. Compared with the previous generation, the overall brightness is increased by 20%. The average brightness of the picture reaches 2400 ANSI lumens. So you can get high-res images even with open curtains.

Resolution And Screen

The Xiaomi Laser Cinema 2 supports a resolution of 4K, a native contrast ratio of 3000:1, and HDR10 decoding. The latter better supports the presentation of high dynamic range images.

Laser projectors generally use ALPD laser fluorescent display technology. But our protagonist comes with the ALPD RB+ technology. It makes the red display effect more outstanding by adding red lasers. The deviation of color reproduction degree is less than 2.9, which makes the color performance more realistic.

In terms of performance, it adopts an MTK high-performance 64-bit CPU chip MT9669. Its highest frequency is 1.9 GHz. And the 3GB memory ensures a smooth experience throughout the process. It supports AI image quality enhancement, automatic noise reduction, etc.

The projector runs on the MIUI TV system, covering a large amount of film and television content on the four major platforms. it has 3 HDMI 2.0 interfaces, 2 USB 2.0 interfaces, 1 optical interface, and 1 Ethernet interface. It is also equipped with a smart fan for real-time temperature control. There are anti-direct-view sensors on both sides of the lens. When a person approaches, the projection brightness is automatically reduced to the minimum to prevent the laser light source from directing human eyes.
