The social network Twitter intends to expand the potential audience of its Spaces audio chats. It no longer requires authentication and, in general, registration of an account – the organizers of the chats and listeners/participants can send everyone direct links that allow them to listen to the broadcast and accompanying conversations.
Taking part in conversations will not work, but the new measure will still allow Twitter to attract more listeners and potentially get even more users.
Recently, more and more new services have been appearing on the social network portal. So, in July, Twitter allowed sending new tweets directly from the audio chat with a link to the conversation and accompanying hashtags, and at the end of October, the function of voice chats became available to all users with no limit on the number of subscribers.
Finally, Twitter has introduced an option for those who have not had the opportunity to listen to the broadcast/chat live – now a limited number of iOS users can record the sessions and share links within 30 days, and visitors platform – to listen to the recording at any time.
