MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper port: New scenes available to download

The latest update of the MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper port brings important news. Starting with the new backgrounds, which include four unpublished landscapes, two of which are terrestrial and two are Martian. We are talking about Navagio Beach in Greece and the Italian Dolomites, both included in the Super Earth collection, while in Super Mars we find Pahrump Hills and Bahram Vallis.

In addition to the new scenes, the update also involves a couple of customization changes. From today, in fact, the new version of MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper port allows you to select different scenes using an integrated and customized configuration tool. Thanks to this change, it is now possible to access all wallpapers from a single APK, so it is no longer necessary to install two separate ones (one for Earth-themed wallpapers and one for Mars-themed wallpapers).

The options for “bright” and “dark” backgrounds will no longer be available. MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper port introduces support for dynamic brightness; which automatically adjusts the brightness of the wallpaper based on sunrise and sunset times.

If you are among the users who always use the dark mode; but still want the wallpapers to change brightness during the day, you can set the dark mode to start at 4 AM and end at 3.59 AM. This action will allow you to have dark mode and dynamic brightness active all day at the same time.

Thanks to the work of the XDA linuxct recognized contributor, MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper has been made accessible to everyone… or almost. To be able to use it, in fact, it is necessary to have a smartphone with Android 8.1 Oreo or later. The APK is available for the link below.
