With the arrival of creator subscriptions, Instagram users may have to shell out money to access content, see Stories, or media from their favorite creators. Asidc from that, the Apple App Store listing of the Meta-owned app (FKA Facebook) in India and the US now has an Instagram Subscriptions category. Also, the aforesaid category is available under the In-App Purchases section.

The in-app subscriptions have been listed on the iOS App Store at INR 89 (about $1.20)per month. The Instagram Subscriptions were originally spotted by TechCrunch, carrying price tags of $0.99 (about INR 73) and $4.99 (about INR 360) in the United States. Moreover, the Instagram Subscriptions feature is live on the App Store in India. This implies that the official subscription model could be available on the platform in the next few days. According to some Twitter users, the new in-app purchase option has been made available in the UK as well.
