Samsung rolled out its One UI 4.0 beta program based on Android 12 for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of devices some time back and now, the company is finally ending the beta program today.
In a post from Samsung’s Community forums, the company’s beta operations manager has taken to the forum to confirm that a fifth One UI 4 beta will not be coming for the Galaxy S21 series, as spotted by 9to5Google.
Samsung to Start Rolling out Stable One UI 4 Update for S21 Series Soon?
The current bugs plaguing users running the fourth beta will be catered to via the first stable One UI 4 update. Unfortunately, the beta operations managers fails to mention a timeline for this stable rollout, but, from previous instances, such as the Android 11 stable update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, we can guess that an update could come in December.
For those curious, the One UI 4 beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S21 started rolling out in September of this year, with the fourth beta bringing with it multiple bug fixes.
This update came after Samsung added the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series to its One UI 4 beta program earlier this week, with the public beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 also open as of the time of writing this article.

In other news, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone recently arrived on Geekbench benchmarking website with some key specifications. Ahead of going official, the smartphone’s specifications have been revealed via a recently spotted Geekbench listing. The Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. Moreover, the upcoming handset has been subject to several leaks lately.
What Else is the Company Working on?
The Galaxy S21 FE will pack Samsung’s Exynos 2100 SoC, according to the Geekbench listing. Furthermore, the listing suggests that the phone will ship with 8GB of RAM and run the latest Android 12 OS.
Furthermore, some reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC in some regions. To recall, the device has already passed through multiple certification websites such as the FCC (US Federal Communications Commission) and China’s 3C certification.
Hawk-eyed tipster FrontTron was the first to spot the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone on Geekbench. The leaker tweeted a screenshot of the Geekbench listing along with some key details about the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone.
The phone carries model number SM-G990E on Geekbench. This coincides with earlier leaks. Moreover, the smartphone’s single-core score was 1,096 points and its multi-core score was 3,387 points.
