Moto Edge X and Moto Edge S30 smartphones’ full specifications and images have been revealed via a TENAA listing. Motorola is reportedly prepping to unveil two smartphones in its home country of China. If earlier reports are anything to go by, the Lenovo-owned company will be unveiling the aforesaid handsets in December. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, the upcoming devices are speculated to go official with the Moto Edge S30 and Moto Edge X monikers.
To recall, the company did not keep its plan to launch the Moto Edge X under wraps. Aside from that, the device has already passed through multiple certification websites. However, some vital pieces of information about the upcoming handsets were revealed earlier today. It is worth mentioning here that Motorola has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations surrounding the Moto Edge X and Moto Edge S30 smartphones.
Moto Edge X, Moto Edge S30 Appears On TENAA With Specifications
Both the Moto Edge S30 and Edge X smartphones have received approval from the TENAA authority of China. As expected, the certification has revealed the images of specifications of the upcoming smartphones. The Motorola phone carrying model number XT2175-2 on TENAA could hit the store shelves as the Moto Edge S30. However, Motorola is likely to launch the phone globally with the Moto G200 moniker. The handset’s dimensions are 168 x 75.5 x 8.8mm and it weighs 202 grams.

Furthermore, the Moto Edge S30 will reportedly sport a mammoth 6.78-inch LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. Under the hood, the phone packs a Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It will probably ship with 12GB, 8GB, and 6GB of memory options. Likewise, it could offer 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of onboard storage options. For optics, the Edge S30 houses a 108MP camera at the back. Aside from that, the phone has a 4,700mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and will run Android 11 OS. Moreover, Its 3C certification hints at 33W fast charging support.
Moto Edge X Specifications
The Motorola smartphone with model number XT2201-2 received the approval of TENAA recently. The device will reportedly go official as the Moto Edge X. It will launch in other regions with the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra moniker. The smartphone’s dimensions are 163 x 75.49 x 8.4mm and it weighs just 201 grams. Furthermore, it will sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz, GSM Arena reported. Moreover, this could turn out to be the first phone to pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. An earlier report claim it will use a Snapdragon 898 chip.
Aside from that, the smartphone will ship with 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM options. It will be available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of built-in storage capacities. Upfront, the phone will feature a 60MP camera. It will house 50MP, 50MP, and 2MP cameras at the back. A 4,700mAh battery with 68W fast charging will be powering up the entire system. The phone will reportedly run Android 11 OS and feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
