If rumors making the rounds online are anything to go by, Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo and Realme will be launching smartphones with 100W+ fast charging support in India in 2022. Fast wired charging support on smartphones in India is restricted to under 100W for some reason. To recall, the Indian version of the iQOO 7 Legend offered 66W charging support, while the Chinese variant supports 120W charging. However, there is a possibility that smartphones with 100W+ fast charging support could launch in the country next year.
According to a noted leaker, tech giants including Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo and Realme are prepping to bring phones with 100W+ fast charging support into the Indian market next year. Aside from that, the tipster claims that SuperVOOC is headed to the country as well. Earlier this year, a report revealed that Oppo may be on the verge of unveiling SuperVOOC 3.0 with 80W fast charging in 2021. Likewise, leaker Digital Chat Station indicated that the Black Shark 5 gaming phone may arrive with 100W+ fast charging, unlike the Black Shark 4 series that offered 120W fast charging support.
