Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla is always in the news for multiple reasons. In a recent email leak, Elon Musk supports factory employees to listen to music at work. In an email sent in early October this year, Musk said that listening to music at work is okay. He said…”I am very supportive of music in the factory and any small interactions that make work more enjoyable”. Simply put, Musk is not cut out for a strict working environment. He wants a friendly environment that delivers high-quality products.
Recently, the contents of two emails sent by Musk to Tesla employees in the first week of October hit the public domain. In one of the emails, Musk told employees that they can use one earplug to listen to music while working and use the other ear to pay attention to safety-related issues. The second email sternly reminds employers of what to do when Musk issues an order. Employees have three options, explain why Musk’s statement was wrong, ask Musk for further verification or implement it.
Despite Tesla’s supply chain chip shortages, the company just announced that its delivery volume in the third quarter hit a record high. Tesla also released the long-awaited “fully autonomous driving” test function. This allows Tesla owners to register this advanced driving assistance system and test it on the road.

Musk also sent an email that encourages new employees working at the Berlin Gigafactory. Some of these employees agree with the optimistic views of analysts in September, suggesting that if the company runs well, Tesla’s stock price can reach $3,000.
Elon Musk internal emails
Musk said in an email on October 3, “I just want to say that I am very supportive of playing music in the factory and any small interactions that make work more enjoyable. A colleague just sent me a message and asked me, can you listen to music with one earplug so that the other ear can pay attention to safety issues. This sounds great. In addition, as long as colleagues can resonate, the ambient music played by the speakers is also very good. If you think there are still other things that can effectively improve your day’s work, please tell me. I hope you look forward to coming to work every day!”
He also sent an email on October 4 to remind employees who is the boss of this company. Musk said, “If I send an email with clear instructions, managers can only have three behaviors. 1. Send me an email back to explain why I’m not correct, sometimes I’m completely wrong. 2. If what I said is not clear, please verify further. 3. Follow the directions I said. If the above points are not achieved, the relevant manager will immediately resign and leave.”
