Lei Jun made it clear as early as August this year that MIUI 13 will arrive at the end of the year. The company is hoping to meet up to Mi Fan’s expectations with this update. Over the past few days, there have been a couple of information regarding MIUI 13. Some of these updates are from official sources like Lei Jun. This suggests that the MIUI 13 system is coming soon.
After the developer kacskrz dug out the MIUI V13.0.0.1.SKACNXM version from the system code, the list of MIUI 13 upgraded models was also exposed. The leak reveals that the first batch of smartphones includes nine models. These models are currently testing the MIUI 13 system and these devices include

- Xiaomi Mi 11
- Xiaomi-Mi 11 Pro
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
- Xiaomi-Mi 10S
- Redmi K40
- Redmi K40 Pro
- Redmi-K40 Pro+
Regarding the system highlights, there are reports that this system will include virtual memory, custom notification management, floating widgets, new system animations, new battery management, and stronger privacy protection. Xiaomi’s annual conference is scheduled for December 16 and we expect the company to unveil MIUI 13 as well as the Xiaomi 12 series.

According to him, the Redmi Note 11 Pro battery makes more users look forward to the MIUI system. These comments from Xiaomi executives sparks speculations that the MIUI 13 system will come with tons of changes. Of course, it is logical to think that the MIUI 13 will have a lot of changes. Furthermore, popular Weibo leakster, @DCS claims that the MIUI13 comes with tons of changes. He further claims that many of the system interfaces have new UX. This Android skin will be based on Android 11 as well as Android 12.
