The Redmi K50 Gaming series smartphones’ key specifications and launch date details have popped up online. Not too long ago, the alleged model numbers of the upcoming Xiaomi 12, Redmi K50 series smartphones surfaced on the internet. Now, more shreds of information about two of those smartphones have emerged. The fresh information about two Xiaomi phones comes from Xiaomiui.
Despite the lack of an official confirmation, the upcoming phones from Xiaomi have been associated with the codenames Matisse and Rubens. Furthermore, the devices are reportedly linked to model numbers L10 and L11A, respectively. New shreds of information about the aforesaid smartphones have been discovered in the IMEI database, as well as the MIUI code.
Xiaomi Matisse (L10)
There will be three regional variants of the Matisse. These include India, China, and even a global version. The IMEI database associates model numbers 21121210I, 21121210G, and 21121210C to the abovementioned variants. Also, it will probably go official in China under the Redmi brand. However, it will launch under the Poco brand in other regions. For those who are unaware, the first four digits of a Xioami phone’s model numbers represent the launch year and month.
In other words, the Xiaomi Matisse (L10) smartphone is likely to launch in December this year. According to a Xiaomiui report, this launch timeline is highly unlikely to be true, considering that the phone’s software is still in the development stage. However, the phone will reportedly pack the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC under the hood. It will sport an OLED display that will provide either a 120Hz or a 144Hz refresh rate.

Aside from that, it is likely to feature a Goodix and FPC in-screen fingerprint scanner. For optics, the Xiaomi Matisse (L10) will reportedly house a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera, a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide lens, an 8MP OmniVision OV08856 telemacro shooter, and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 depth sensor at the back. Xiaomi could launch another variant of the phone that houses a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 main camera.
The phone will probably launch in China as Redmi K50 Gaming / Redmi K50 Gaming Pro. In other markets, it will be carrying the POCO F4 GT moniker. To recall, Xiaomi Group China president and general manager of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing had confirmed that the Redmi K50 gaming version phone is currently in the works.
Redmi K50 Gaming Series – Xiaomi Rubens (L11A)
The Xiaomi Rubens phone has a Chinese variant with model number 22041211AC. It is barely surprising that the phone is likely to launch under the Redmi branding in China. According to a report from Xiaomiui, this phone could launch as the Redmi K50 Gaming Standard Edition. To recall, the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G retails as the POCO X3 GT globally. It was likely to arrive as the Redmi K40 Gaming Standard Edition during its development stage.
The Redmi K40 Gaming packs the Dimensity 1200, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be drawing its power from the Dimensity 1100 SoC. Likewise, the Xiaomi Rubens is likely to come with an upcoming Dimensity 7000 chip. This processor will reportedly be a less powerful version of the Dimensity 9000, which will reportedly be powering up the Xiaomi Matisse. The phone will probably house a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main camera at the back.
