Xiaomi 12 Ultra Launch Date, Specifications & Features (Expected)
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone has been floating around the rumor mill for a long time. However, vital information about the smartphone is still few and far between. The word on the street is that Xiaomi will be unveiling the Xiaomi 12 Ultra in the second quarter of 2022. Likewise, some reports even suggest that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will launch another flagship smartphone dubbed the Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced Edition, along with the regular Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will probably pack the upcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset from Qualcomm. Furthermore, the smartphone is likely to house an impressive camera setup at the back. This will reportedly include a 50MP main Samsung GN5 camera, as well as three 48MP rear-mounted sensors. One of these cameras is expected to serve as an ultrawide lens. Moreover, the camera system will reportedly support 120x zoom, just like the Mi 11 Ultra.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12 is likely to sport a curved display with a selfie camera in the center. Aside from that, the phone’s LTPO panel could provide a 2K resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Aside from that, the Xiaomi 12 might ship with 16GB of RAM and offer a hearty onboard storage capacity of 1TB. The phone’s camera setup will be similar to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Considering that the Mi 11 Ultra retails for INR 69,999 in India, the upcoming models could carry a similar or slightly higher price tag.
Never will I ever buy Xiaomi flagship again. My Mi 11 Ultra is stuck on June 2021 security patch. Pathetic for a so-called flagship.
