Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro have been revealed in all their glory

Honor made a remarkable return this year. The company got free from Huawei ties and consequently got free from the US Ban that stopped its former parent company’s pursuit to become the world’s largest smartphone maker. In fact, Huawei is struggling today to get some global relevancy, and Honor is striving to become the “new Huawei” for global customers. The brand is also succeeding in the domestic market where it caught third place during the third quarter of 2021. Honor’s most successful devices were the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. To keep its name in the headlines, the brand is preparing the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro which will be introduced this Wednesday, December 1. Today, the devices had their design completely revealed.

The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro have been targets of multiple leaks during the past few days. The two smartphones will have largely similar internals, but the big differences will come in the design. Today, new leaked photos have emerged revealing the two smartphones. The Honor 60 Pro will have a curved top and bottom edges, making the tiny bezels even tinier. The Pro variant is also slightly taller than its vanilla sibling but will be similarly wide.

Gizchina News of the week

Previously leaked renders suggested flat bezels for the vanilla model and today’s images confirm this fact. Both handsets will come with a single punch-hole in the center and a triple camera setup at the back. Interestingly, previous rumors were suggesting a pill-shaped camera in one of the two models, but apparently, Honor has ultimately chosen to go with just one camera.

Honor 60 series alleged specifications

According to the reputed tipster, Digital Chat Station, the Honor 60 will pack a 120 Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it will carry a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC with a 32 MP selfie snapper. The main camera will bring a 108 MP camera + 50 MP + 2 MP sensor. The battery capacity will be 4,300 mAh with 66 W fast-charging. Some reports suggest the Honor 60 Pro with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, however, there are conflicting reports on this matter. The device could still use the same chipset as its vanilla sibling. The Pro is also getting a bigger 4,500 mAh battery with the same 66 W fast-charging.

The Honor 60 series should also bring an Honor 60 SE variant. However, we don’t know if this model will also be revealed at this Wednesday’s event.
