Oppo Reno7 series pricing for India tipped ahead of launch

Oppo has unveiled the long-anticipated Reno7 series in the Chinese market during the last week. The lineup brings three devices, namely Oppo Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 Pro. As previously confirmed, the lineup didn’t bring a Pro+ variant this time around. According to reports, the Oppo Reno7 series will start its global campaign in January 2022. The first market to get the new devices will be India. Ahead of the possible release, a report emerged with the pricing for the three smartphones in the Asian country. In addition to the handsets, Oppo will also be revealing new true wireless earbuds in India.

According to a fresh report from 91mobiles, the Oppo Reno7 price will be between INR 28,000 and INR 31,000 ($372,75 ~ $412). The Oppo Reno7 Pro is expected to be priced between INR 41,000 and INR 43,000 ($545 ~ $572). These prices are based on industry sources as per the report from 91mobiles. For context, the Oppo Reno 6 is priced at INR 29,990 and the Reno 6 Pro costs INR 39,990 currently. The Oppo Reno7 SE will not launch in India.

Along with the Oppo Reno7 series, the company will also disclose a new true wireless earbud in India. As of now, there is no information about the exact model. It could be a successor for the Oppo Enco X. Furthermore, the company may also pick the opportunity to reveal its Oppo Watch Free smartwatch.

Oppo Reno7 series specifications

The Oppo Reno7 boasts the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX chipset. It’s a slightly tweaked version of the Dimensity 1200 with more power and efficiency. The device has up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. The device draws its powers from a huge 4,500 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast-charging.

Moving around to the back, the phone sports a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, an ultrawide snapper with 8 MP resolution, and a 2 MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32 MP front-facing snapper. There is also a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz AMOLED display.

The Reno7 brings a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. It has the same 4,500 mAh battery with 65 W fast-charging. Moving around to the back, it packs a triple-camera setup with a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and 2 MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32 MP snapper.
