During normal years, OnePlus holds a special event in the spring or summer to present the next generation of flagships. In the fall, it was in the habit of releasing the T-version – an updated version of the flagship. But now the company will not be as usual. It ditched the OnePlus 9T this year and will launch the OnePlus 10 ahead of schedule next year.

It has been reported that the OnePlus 10 series will debut in January next year. True, the new devices initially debut in the Chinese market, and in a couple of months, they will enter the global market. If that prediction comes true, the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro should be at the forefront of devices with the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 platform.

There are already rumors on the net that the OnePlus 10 Pro will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and QuadHD + resolution, 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 storage memory and 5000 mAh battery with a fast-charging power of 125 W. The resolution of the front camera will be 32 megapixels and the main camera will receive three 48 megapixels + 50 megapixels + 8 megapixels sensors. The smartphone will run by the proprietary shell OxygenOS 12 (outside of China) based on Android 12.

OnePlus 10 Pro

Despite the fact that there is still a long time before the announcement of the OnePlus 10 Pro; we have repeatedly had a reason to talk about the new product. And they were thrown up by the famous network insider @OnLeaks; who posted renders showing the design of the flagship on the network.

Thanks to them, we learned that the main camera of the smartphone will be three-component; and there will not be a place for a periscope module in it. Ice Universe insider confirmed this today and revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will offer a “regular” telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom and 30x digital. This can be frustrating for fans of zoom photography.

Nothing is known about the characteristics of other modules; but it is not difficult to assume that the ultra-wide will form a pair of the main sensor. And, of course, the company will continue to partner with Hasselblad to improve the OnePlus 10 Pro’s photo capabilities.

Little is known about the smartphone itself; but it is not difficult to assume that it will be awarded an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz; the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 platform, at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage; a battery with a capacity of at least 4500 mAh and charging with a power of at least 65 watts.
