Enthusiast Chinese brand OnePlus is rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 9R handset featuring the latest security patch for November 2021.
In case you missed it, the company has rolled out the November patch for its other OnePlus 9 series devices, including the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The November patch for the update comes alongside OxygenOS 11.2.6.6.
Latest OnePlus 9R Update Brings November 2021 Security Patch
The official announcement for the same came via the OnePlus Community. The update features the firmware version 11.2.6.6.LE28DA and weighs around 372 MB in size. The official changelog is as follows.

For those unaware, this OTA update in incremental, meaning that a few users are receiving this as of now, with a broader rollout in the coming days.
In other news, OnePlus announced recently that it is going to be pushing its camera capabilities with industry-leading innovations, so as to provide better image quality in 2022.
The smartphone brand which got into a partnership with the famous professional camera maker Hasselblad earlier this year has mentioned that with the creation of the ‘Shot on OnePlus’ platform, the company is proactively trying to get its community to showcase as well as highlight their amazing work around the camera.

“In 2021 and beyond, OnePlus’ focus will heavily rest on improving camera performance through investments and strategic partnerships that further the imaging experience for users,” Hsiaohua Cheng, Head of Imaging at OnePlus, told IANS.
What Else is the Company Working on?
“The latest feature film shot in collaboration with Vikramaditya Motwane’s Andolan Production, tited ‘2024,’ works towards bringing alive the prowess of the OnePlus 9 Series’ camera capabilities while highlighting its easy-to-use nature for a diverse user community,” Cheng adds.
Cheng also mentioned that the three-year partnership with Hasselblad complete with the additional investment of around $150 million towards camera development is a testament of the company’s commitment towards getting breakthroughs and delivering best-in-class imaging experiences.
“The partnership will roll out in multiple stages starting with areas including colour tuning and sensor calibration, and later expanding to include additional hardware collaboration to improve the lens standard and optic, that we will see in future OnePlus flagship devices,” Cheng informed.
Furthermore, Navnit Nakra from the company said that OnePlus is excited to showcase the exceptional camera quality of its flagship devices that offers more accurate colours and premium image quality to users. “We hope that this also inspires our community to push their own creative boundaries,” he adds.
