OnePlus Red Cable

Popular smartphone maker OnePlus has launched its Red Cable Club in Europe, around two years after the introduction of this membership program in the country of India, with it featuring multiple benefits such as an extended warranty, free cloud storage and more.

In Europe, the program will provide the users with a few exclusive benefits that are not available to users in India, with the benefits mainly being in relation to savings on various different offerings.

These include a 2% discount on the company’s Android handset, a 10% discount on the company’s first smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Buds Pro, and around 20% off on accessories.

Furthermore, free shipping will also be available to customers of the Red Cable Club in Europe. Another interesting thing to note about this announcement is in relation to the company’s upcoming audio product, which will be available for early access to club members in December.

No specifics of the device have been provided, but this is likely a reference to the OnePlus Buds Z successor, which might feature the OnePlus Buds Z2 moniker.

There is no timeline for the release of the earbuds in global markets, but this hint does suggest that the product might launch in the coming months.

OnePlus also adds that Red Cable Club members can get their hands on the Limited Edition OnePlus Watch Cobalt till stocks last, since in some markets they are sold out.

In other news, the feature-laden OnePlus Band fitness tracker has gone up for sale carrying a considerably lowered price tag on Amazon. The Chinese tech giant made its foray into the wearable segment by launching the OnePlus Band in January this year.

What Else is the Company Working on?

OnePlus Band

Aside from that, OnePlus went on to unveil the OnePlus Watch in March. However, the OnePlus Band was the first smart wearable device from the brand, known for making top-notch smartphones.

As expected, the OnePlus Band garnered huge popularity among OnePlus fans. The market is currently teeming with all sorts of smart wearable devices that would ideally set you back a pretty penny.

Those who aren’t willing to spend a lot of money on a smartwatch, end up compromising on overall performance. However, the fully laden OnePlus Band is currently available for a lowered price via Amazon.

Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Band for INR 2,499. Much to the delight of budget-conscious buyers, the fitness tracker has now received a significant INR 1,000 discount. As a result, the original asking price of the OnePlus Band has come down to INR 1,4999.
