The hotly-anticipated Motorola Edge S30 smartphone has passed through Geekbench with key specifications ahead of launch. Motorola will be unveiling a couple of new Edge series smartphones in the coming days. First off, the telecommunications giant will be bringing the Motorola Edge X30 into the Chinese market on December 9. Aside from that, it will announce a limited edition of its Edge X30 phone that comes with an under-display camera.
In the meantime, the Lenovo-owned company is gearing up for the imminent launch of the Motorola Edge S30 smartphone. The handset has already passed through the FCC and AnTuTu benchmarking websites. Moreover, the Moto Edge S30 scored about 860,000 points on AnTuTu last month. Aside from that, the phone was spotted on TENAA alongside the Moto Edge X in November this year. Now, the same device has made its appearance on Geekbench. As expected, the listing has revealed details about the phone’s processor and RAM.
Motorola Edge S30 Spotted On Geekbench
A Motorola device carrying model number XT2175-2 has been listed on Geekbench. According to earlier reports, the aforesaid model number is associated with the Motorola Edge S30. The Geekbench listing suggests that the phone will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC under the hood. Furthermore, it reveals that the processor will come with up to 3GHz clock speed. This is the overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 888 processor dubbed, the Snapdragon 888+.

Furthermore, one core of the octa-core SoC runs at 3GHz. Likewise, three cores clocked at 2.42GHz, while the other four cores are running at 1.8Ghz. Aside from that, the phone features an Adreno 660 GPU. According to the Geekbench listing, the Edge S30 will be shipping with 8GB of RAM. Also, the listing suggests that the phone will boot Android 11 out of the box. Past leaks have also shed some light on the phone’s specifications.

General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, Chen Jin, had announced via a Weibo post that the company will be launching the Motorola Edge S30 today (December 9). The handset will go official alongside the Edge X30. The word on the street is that Motorola will launch the Motorola Edge X30 globally as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. Regrettably, details about the phone’s availability are still scarce.

The Motorola Edge S30 will reportedly sport a mammoth 6.78-inch LCD that delivers a high screen refresh rate of 144Hz. Furthermore, the phone will probably draw its juices from a 4,700mAh battery which will reportedly support 33W fast charging. In the photography department, Motorola Edge S30 could house a 108MP primary camera. Aside from that, past leaks suggest that the phone weighs 202 grams and it measures 8.8mm.
