Reports from Apple’s upstream supply chain claim that the company will conduct trial production of the Apple iPhone SE3 soon. Of course, this will not be the final version of this smartphone. The company will still have a few months to make small adjustments before the release. This device will be the third model in the Apple iPhone SE series. Initial reports claim that this device will be called iPhone SE Plus. However, there is no change in size and design. According to Apple’s supply chain, the mold of the new iPhone SE is ready to be mass-produced. It is basically a “moll” of the previous generation product. It only replaces the camera sensor and may add functions such as night scene mode.
According to the latest reports, the new iPhone SE will be equipped with a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD display and a physical fingerprint Home button. The back will still retain the 12MP single-camera design. It will only change the sensor to improve the photo effect. Furthermore, this smartphone will use the flagship A15 Bionic processor with an external X60M 5G baseband chip.

In addition, sources reveal that the RAM capacity of the new iPhone SE may increase from the current 3GB to 4GB. Previously, analysts at JPMorgan Chase Bank in the United States said that this new phone is expected to win about 1.4 billion low-end Android phone users worldwide, as well as about 300 million old Apple users.
Apple iPhone SE3 will be a top 5G mid-range smartphone
Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the new iPhone SE will adopt a design similar to the current model. The overall design is based on the iPhone 8, with a 4.7-inch display (providing Touch ID). The key upgrade of the device is the 5G support and a faster processor. There are speculations that this device will come with the A15 Bionic chip. Previous reports on the price claim that it will be the “cheapest 5G phone in Apple’s history”. No doubt, this will greatly promote the overall shipment target.
There has been a long-standing chip shortage issue in the manufacturing industry. According to industry insiders, this chip shortage issue will not go away anytime soon. In order to cope with supply chain issues, Apple cut the production capacity of the iPad and the old iPhone. The company is doing all it can to protect the shipments of the iPhone 13 series. However, Apple is still struggling. According to reports, iPhone 13 production from September to October this year is about 20% behind its target. Apple had to lower the total production target of iPhone 13 from 95 million units to 85 million units.
