LG Mobile devices are gone as the company decided to quit this particular segment after consecutive rounds of losses. However, the LG Electronics division is alive and kicking as ever. One time that the company has lost one of its divisions, it’s not a big surprise to see it exploring other areas. LG is known for launching laptops, even though they don’t come in the same pace as other companies. Now, it is going in a particular niche inside the computer segment – the range of gaming laptops. LG has unveiled the LG UltraGear 17G90Q today joining a trend dominated by other companies like ASUS, ACER, and Lenovo.
LG UltraGear 17G90Q specifications
For starters, the LG UltraGear 17G90Q arrives as a premium gaming laptop. So it offers some of the better specs you see on a gaming laptop. For instance, it brings a 17.3-inch IPS LCD screen which is big when we compare it to common-user laptops. It boasts a Full HD+ resolution with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. That may be a problem for 2K or 4K games, but the panel at least brings a 300 Hz refresh rate with claimed 1 ms response time and 99 percent of sRGB coverage.
