Realme 9 Pro+ will have 65W charging, Realme 9i has a 5000mAh battery

Realme is gearing up to introduce the Realme 9 series. We’ve got used to seeing two generations of the Realme number series every year. However, 2021 has been a different year for a lot of reasons, in special due to the ongoing chipset shortage. Realme decided to not bring the Realme 9 in the past few months. Instead, it has pushed the lineup to 2022. According to reports, there are four smartphones coming under the series – Realme 9, 9 Pro, Realme 9i, and Realme 9 Pro+. The Realme 9i and Realme 9 Pro+ are the latest targets of leaks. Today, the two upcoming smartphones have been certified by CQC, and this process confirms some tidbits about the devices.

According to the CQC certification, the Realme 9i has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast-charging support. This is pretty much satisfactory charging, especially when you take in mind that the device will aim at the budget price segment. The Realme 9 Pro+, on the other hand, will bring a much faster 65 W fast-charging support.

Unfortunately, we have no clues about the battery capacity. Realme tends to not be very generous with the devices that have 65W charging. For instance, the only device that has a 5,000 mAh battery coupled with this charging capability is the recently released Realme GT Neo 2. We assume that this is due to the challenges of dual-cell battery technology. We’re hoping for a 5,000 mAh battery on the Realme 9 Pro+ to make things even better, but at least it should have 4,500 mAh capacity.

According to the previous leaks, this model will have a 50 MP main rear camera and a 16 MP selfie snapper. Unfortunately, other details about this handset are vague at this point. The Realme 9i is much less a mystery. In fact, rumors point out to Realme releasing the Reame 9i in the next month. The other devices will arrive sometime later.

Realme 9i alleged specifications

The Realme 9i will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 680G chipset at the helm. This is one of the few 4G-only Qualcomm chips being offered now that the company is focusing on 5G. The SoC will come alongside 8 GB of RAM, and we assume that it has at least 128 GB of Internal Storage. Of course, there might be other options for RAM and Storage. The device has a punch-hole display with a 6.5-inch diagonal. It boasts Full HD+ resolution with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The handset has a 50 MP main rear camera.
