For instance, it has been revealed that the watch will come with eSIM support. Moreover, the company has also revealed the battery life the wearable will be offering.
Vivo Watch 2 Design Revealed
The Chinese technology giant showcased the Vivo Watch 2 at an in-person event on December 19. The smartwatch sports a circular dial and adopts an uncomplicated design. Furthermore, the side edge houses two buttons that are likely to help control various functions. Aside from that, the company will be offering the watch in two appealing finishes. These include matte black and metallic silver. On top of that, you will be able to choose between several band options.

Moreover, Vivo announced a collaboration with China’s three big telecom companies during the press conference. It will be teaming up with China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom. Furthermore, Vivo noted that the Watch 2 will be the company’s maiden smartwatch to come with eSIM-based SMS functionality. In other words, the Watch 2 can support communication through SMS even if it is not paired with another device using Wi=Fi, Bluetooth, or the internet. The three Chinese telecom giants will facilitate this feature.
Launch Date, Price & Availability
The Vivo Watch 2 will launch in China on December 22. However, it will not be launching in India at the same time, according to a report by HindustanTimes. Moreover, the Vivo Watch 2 has gone up for pre-booking on the Vivo China’s website. However, the pricing details haven’t been revealed. The watch will be going official only in China. In other words, users from other countries, including India will have to wait. Nevertheless, the Watch 2 is likely to hit the store shelves in India soon.
