Samsung is gearing up to introduce its new flagship chipset, tentatively named Exynos 2200. The new chipset is said to launch shortly before the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. So, we can expect Samsung to unveil it in January or February 2022. The Korean firm, in fact, has confirmed that it will indeed launch the new platform “early next year”. According to them, they are preparing a “small gift for fans who love gaming” and while some of the specifications of the Exynos 2200 are gaming-oriented, we may also receive a special version of this chip with a total focus on gaming, it will have a boosted GPU.
Samsung published a teaser video and says it is for all fans that have been with the company through the pandemic and it shows what “togetherness” means. It is a heartwarming video about a kid that gets inoculated but still doesn’t get to see his friends, so they have to bond over with a mobile game. Interestingly enough, one poster above the child’s bed reads “2200” and we don’t think this is a mere coincidence, it probably is a hint for the upcoming Exynos chipset.
