Last year, the Chinese technology company unveiled a smartwatch dubbed Vivo Watch. The original Vivo Watch adopted an eye-catching sleek design and offers an impressive array of features. Now, the popular brand has taken the wraps off its new smartwatch dubbed, the Vivo Watch 2 in China. The Vivo Watch successor made its debut alongside the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro smartphones.

As expected, the Vivo Watch 2 offers notable upgrades over its predecessor. For instance, it sports an OLED display and offers e-SIM support. Aside from that, the watch is 5ATM water resistance and comes with an SOS feature as well. Unlike the original Vivo Watch, the newly launched Watch 2 is available in a sole 46mm size. To recall, the Chinese brand gave us a glimpse of the Vivo Watch 2, showing off two finishes of the wearable earlier this week. The Vivo Watch 2 will set you back RMB 1,299 (about INR 15,400) on Vivo’s official website. Moreover, it will go on sale in China starting from Wednesday, December 29. On top of that, Vivo will be giving consumers an opportunity to choose from three highly appealing color options. These include Force Black, Breaking Dawn, and Silver Wing color options. Regrettably, details about the Vivo Watch 2 India launch are still scarce.

The Vivo Watch 2 features a circular dial of 46mm. It has a 1.43-inch OLED display that offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. Furthermore, the wearable is housed in a 316L stainless steel body and adopts a bezel-less design. The right side houses two physical buttons. Aside from that, users will be able to change the silicone straps of the smartwatch. The Watch 2 carries a 5ATM rating, making it an ideal smartwatch for swimming. The smartwatch comes with an SOS emergency mode. This mode works even when the phone is connected to the watch.

The SOS emergency mode comes in handy for sending out alerts to hospitals, police, or fire services. The Watch 2 draws its juices from a battery that can deliver up to 14 days of battery life when the e-SIM is turned off. With e-SIM turned on, the battery can still last for 7 days. For those who are unaware, e-SIM enables users to send/receive SMS and calls without requiring connection to their smartphones. The Watch 2 supports music streaming via Netease Cloud Music and Himalaya FM.

Furthermore, the Vivo Watch 2 ships with a hearty 2GB of onboard storage that you can use to store your favorite music. Also, the smartwatch has 47 sport modes such as cycling, swimming, walking, running, and more. Much to the delight of adventure junkies, the Watch 2 comes with a built-in GPS that comes in handy during outdoor activities. As if that weren’t enough, the watch can even track sleep, stress, measure SpO2 and monitor heart rate. Other notable features include NFC, smart home control, Jovi voice assistant, smart travel service, and a smart calendar.
