Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Appears On FCC, Global Launch Around The Corner

The much-awaited Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphone has made an appearance on FCC, hinting at its imminent global debut. Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand unveiled the Redmi Note 11 5G series in China back in October. The lineup comprised the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the Redmi Note 11 models. The Redmi Note 11 arrived in India recently with the Redmi Note 11T 5G moniker. The phone was launched globally as the Poco M4 Pro 5G.

Now, Redmi seems to be gearing up for the impending launch of the high-end Redmi Note 11 Pro+ model outside its home country of China. The device is headed to the Indian market carrying the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge moniker. The same model has now popped up on the FCC certification website. This is a clear sign that the phone is set to launch in multiple regions soon.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphone has passed through the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification website carrying model number 20191116UG. As mentioned, bagging the FCC certification is a sign that the phone is headed to global markets. Furthermore, the database reiterates earlier leaks that suggest the phone is a 5G-ready device.

The Note 11 Pro+ is the highest-end model in the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones. It boasts impressive features like a 120Hz AMOLED screen, Dimnensity SoC, a 108MP primary camera, and 120W fast charging.

Upfront, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ houses a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display. This screen delivers a high refresh rate of 120Hz and an equally high touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Furthermore, the display has a layer of the toughest Gorilla glass yet, the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The side edge houses the fingerprint scanner for easier accessibility. Moreover, the phone will draw its juices from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Aside from that, the phone will reportedly have a Type-C port for charging.

In the photography department, an earlier report suggests that the phone will feature a 108MP main camera, which could be the Samsung HM2, according to a report from GizmoChina. Aside from that, the rear panel will feature an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, as well as a 2MP telemacro lens. Much to the delight of selfie enthusiasts, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will come with a 16MP front shooter. The phone will run Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top.
