Over the past few years, there have been significant improvements in the display panel for smartphones. Many recent flagships come with the latest LTPO OLED display. The likes of iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max, OnePlus 9 Pro, Oppo Find X3 Pro, and other models use this display. The LTPO OLED displays reduce power consumption while ensuring a high refresh rate. Unfortunately, the LTPO OLED display panel has been exclusively supplied by Samsung. However, Chinese manufacturers are now quickly catching up. According to a recent report, Visionox has the mass production capacity for LTPO OLED displays. With the current production capacity plan, Visionox will maintain an advantage in the Chinese LTPO OLED market next year.
LTPO means “Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide”. The upcoming Xiaomi 12 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, and other flagships will use the LTPO 2.0 display screen. The refresh rate control is more refined, and the control and energy consumption are further considered. In addition, it is not difficult to speculate that the LTPO OLEDs of BOE and China Star Optoelectronics should also be close to maturity.
