Jabra is back with another truly wireless earbud, bringing a product in a market that already has its fair share of options, from the likes of Boat, Noise, Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, Bose and more.
Today, the company has announced its latest premium TWS earbud in India, under the Jabra Elite branding, with the earbud called the Jabra Elite 4 Active. The earbud comes with ANC or active noise cancellation, up to 28 hours of battery life, IP57 dust resistance and fast charging.
Jabra Elite 4 Active: Pricing and Availability
The Jabra Elite 4 Active is going to retail in India for Rs 10,999 via Amazon.in. The earbuds will be available in a couple of hues namely Light Mint, Navy and Black.
With this pricing, the earbud will take on Samsung’s popular Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds 2, OnePlus’ flagship-grade OnePlus Buds Pro and the Oppo Enco X earbuds.
In terms of specifications and design, the Jabra Elite 4 Active are truly wireless earbuds that pack in an in-ear style design, free of any stem. The earbuds come with 6mm drivers with a customizable equalizer, letting you tune your audio to your liking. Active-noise cancellation is also present.
For safety, the earbuds have an IP57 dust and water resistance for protection against sweat, dust and water. There are quad microphones to allow for clear calls, with the adjustable HearThrough tech from Jabra allowing suppression of ambient noise.

Battery life is decent, with the earbuds running for 7 hours on a single charge, with another 21 hours of additional charge available via the included charging case, which provides 60 minutes of playback after a 1-minute top-up. Additional features include Google Fast Pair and support for Alexa, Google’s Assistant and Siri.

This comes on the day Boat announced the Boat Airdopes 161. The Boat Airdopes 161 will set you back Rs 999 and will be available for sale starting January 5 on both Amazon and Flipkart, two of India’s largest e-commerce sites. The earbuds will be on offer in three hues, Pearl White, Cool Sapphire and Pebble Black.
When it comes to the specifications, the Boat Airdopes 161 are available with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, allowing for the best range, with audio handled by a 10mm driver with a focus on bass.
The earbuds also offer the IWP tech from Boat, which, according to the audio tech maker allows for seamless connection with the paired device once the earbuds are taken out from their charging case.
