Realme’s lifestyle-focused sub-brand, Dizo has announced two new products in India today, the Dizo Watch R and the Dizo Buds Z Pro. The former is the focus of this article, with the new smartwatch flaunting what the company says is the segment’s largest display, in the form of a 1.3-inch AMOLED panel.
Certain other features that the smartwatch can boast of include over 110 sports modes, up to 12 hours of battery life and SpO2 monitoring, all of which are available for a rather low price.
Dizo Watch R: Pricing, Availability in India
The Realme Dizo Watch R is going to retail for Rs 3,499 for an initial period in India, after which the price will rise to Rs 3,999. The smartwatch will be on sale via Flipkart starting January 11, 12 PM IST.
In terms of what the smartwatch has to offer, the Dizo Watch R comes with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display that also packs in a screen resolution of 360 x 360 pixels.
The smartwatch has a round dial that is coupled with a rather premium-feeling metallic frame. The Dizo Watch R is also 5ATM water and dust resistant certified and features 2.5D curved glass.

One highlighting feature is AoD or Always-On-Display functionality, which is a feature that only AMOLED displays can boast of. It will allow customers to choose from over 150 watch faces present in the companion app. Battery life is quite good, with the watch running for around 12 days on a single 2-hour charge.
What Else Do We Know About the Smartwatch?
The Dizo Watch R is no slouch in functionality, with the watch featuring multiple health and fitness features, some of which include a sleep monitor, 24-hour heart-rate tracking, SpO2 tracker, 110+ sports modes and music playback. The ability to check notifications and reject calls is also present.
This comes after Realme finally unveiled its Realme GT 2 flagship series in the Chinese region today, with the series comprising of the Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Pro.
The smartphones, which are the company’s most premium handsets launched in some time pack in flagship-grade features, which include the new Snapdragon Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm and other advancements over the predecessor.
Starting with the Realme GT 2 Pro, the device packs in a massive 6.7-inch 2K Samsung AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with support for 120Hz variable refresh rate. This display also has protection courtesy of Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus and comes with support for 1000Hz touch sampling rate.
